Corporate Accommodation Turns A Page

As many corporates tighten their budgets, the cost of booking hotels for long- and short-term stays has come under increasing scrutiny. Alternative forms of business accommodation such as Airbnb have become increasingly popular, however, issues of consistency, security and even cost have left many companies wary of using their services.

Enter the often-forgotten option for corporate clients: the executive serviced apartment – long-term accommodation geared specifically to company employees working away from home for extended periods. One group offering this increasingly popular option is The Residency hotel and service apartments. They have been in operation in Gauteng for the past two years, garnering a steady clientele buildup. So often with hotels, accommodation comes at a premium when there is a big conference in town; prices skyrocket and travellers are often forced to stay long distances from where they need to be,” Gillis states.

“We take the stress and anxiety out of that. All of our properties are centrally located in the key business hubs of Sandhurst, Sandton, Rosebank and Hurlingham. Our rates stay consistent with the guarantee of the same high-end luxury stay, time and time again.”

  • ranging in size from 59m2 for the individual to 134m2 for groups and families.
